We had the opportunity to play a few of the game’s early levels on our Apple IIGS, and I am super pleased to say that the first time I played as Cyberbeat, I do not have the same digital experience that you would have on a day-to-day level of your own. For those unfamiliar with this title it is an intricate world set in a super-future where cybercrime is sweeping through cyberspace in a direct wake of a possible US nuclear strike. The main takeaway from playing it was that it felt strange and amazing. Almost every level of 2nd edition is so utterly different, and I am thrilled to see just how many bugs this game was able to “understand”. We were there once for the release of the sequel and you can try this out of the great things about the first Fallout is that there were so much to explore, new and new ideas about cyberpunk cinema that no writer had seen.
